Great printer. Printz great right out of the box.
Nicely packaged.
At first glance, the SK1 is a pretty nice 3D printer and thanks to the built-in Kliper it is faster than my Sapphire Pro.
But when the bed mesh is in an absolute difference of 0.4 mm, it is really difficult or impossible to set a plane that would be sufficient for the filament to properly adhere to the substrate.
Why doesn't the SK1 have much more practical dynamic babysteps but only a setting with a sheet of paper, which is only indicative, and for fine adjustments it is necessary to repeat the paper setting countless times by adding "trial" differences in hundredths?
These are the two main errors that I am currently struggling with and they take up a lot of time and nerves.
You also have very capable engineers at the factory, Saotovo, who could easily fix such shortcomings in favor of increased sales and competitiveness.
Apart from that, I can't find any websites where I could find spare parts for the SK1 and also the Sapphire Pro.....
It's an amazing printer. I'm unhappy you are getting out of FDM, you built a really good machine top to bottom.
I am satisfied. Very solid Build. And i like the open sourceFW: Klipper. Only 1 downside: i cant usw or update to newer Klipper, because the screen will not work anymore. So there is no *klipperscreen" in the Machine. Only your properitary solution.
My wish would be: Plesse update to github a very New Klipper FW,inclusive a klipperscreen solution for the build in screen. This would be great. Than mo one needs bambulab.
Thank you.
